Faro-Arm

The FaroArm is a portable coordinate measuring machine (CMM) that offers precise and accurate measurement capabilities for a wide range of industries. It is used for inspecting, digitizing, and reverse engineering various components and products with high precision.

Key features of the FaroArm include its portability, which allows for on-site measurements and inspections, reducing the need to transport large or fragile parts to a dedicated measurement facility.

Surface Roughness Tester

A surface roughness tester, also known as a profilometer or roughness gauge, is a device used to measure the surface texture of a material. It quantifies the small variations in height of the surface, which can affect the performance and quality of manufactured parts.

The tester typically consists of a probe or stylus that scans the surface of the material, measuring the height variations as it moves along. The probe is connected to a sensitive sensor that records the vertical movements, which are then analyzed to determine the roughness parameters of the surface.

Portable Hardness Tester

A portable hardness tester is a handheld device used to measure the hardness of metals and alloys. It is a non-destructive testing method that provides quick and accurate results without damaging the material being tested.

The portable hardness tester works by applying a specific force to an indenter, which creates an indentation on the surface of the material.

Brinell Hardness Tester

A Brinell hardness tester is a device used to measure the hardness of metallic materials. It utilizes a spherical indenter made of hardened steel, typically with a diameter of 10 mm, which is pressed into the surface of the material under a specific load. The diameter of the resulting impression is measured using a microscope or a specialized measuring device, and the Brinell hardness number (BHN) is calculated based on the applied load and the diameter of the impression. The Brinell hardness test is widely used in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and metallurgy to assess the hardness of materials.

Ultra Sonic Testing Machine

An ultrasonic testing (UT) machine is a non-destructive testing (NDT) tool used to inspect the internal structure of materials and detect defects or irregularities without causing damage to the material being tested. It operates on the principle of sending high-frequency sound waves (ultrasonic waves) into the material and analyzing the reflected waves to identify flaws. The UT machine consists of a transducer, which emits ultrasonic waves, and a receiver or sensor that detects the waves after they have traveled through the material. The waves travel through the material until they encounter an interface, such as a boundary between different materials or a defect within the material.

Magnetic Particle Inspection

Magnetic particle inspection (MPI) is a non-destructive testing (NDT) method used to detect surface and near-surface flaws in ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, cobalt, and some alloys. It works on the principle that when a magnetic field is applied to a ferromagnetic material, magnetic lines of force are distorted by the presence of a flaw, creating a magnetic field around the flaw. This magnetic field attracts and holds magnetic particles on the surface of the material, indicating the presence of a flaw. MPI is commonly used in industries such as aerospace, automotive, construction, manufacturing, and oil and gas for inspecting critical components such as welds, castings, forgings, and machined parts.
